Boswell Named to Highway Bill Conference

Congressman Leonard Boswell (IA-3) today announced he was named as one of 13 House Democrats meeting in public conference to work towards a compromise on the federal highway bill.
"I am looking forward to working in a bipartisan fashion with my fellow conferees to reach a compromise," said Boswell, a senior member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. "We must put politics aside and focus on a bill that upholds public safety, rebuilds America and saves or creates millions of jobs, including 17,600 in Iowa."
